What is a tagine?



 The tagine was born in North Africa, Morocco, and has been influenced by various cultures. Due to the shortage of water, we had to find a way to prepare food with the least amount of water. In the tagine, meat, fish, vegetables, ... are prepared so delicious thanks to the special conical shape of the lid with a minimum of juices. The vapors generated in the tagine ride along the cold inclined walls and descend after condensed. The TV and maintains his own moisture. The cover thus keeps all the juices and flavors together, which gives the dish a special touch.
